YOU'LL NEED BOTH HANDS
Based on an original German design from over 50 years ago, the Seagull 4A-109 is a throwback classic to the finest time of analog camera production. Harnessing the excellent colors, resolution, and depth of medium format film, this beauty is capable of huge, stunning images. But take warning – this ain't no shirt-pocket compact. You'll need a firm grip on the Seagull's solid metal curves, and it has more than its share of heft.

There's absolutely no rush – in fact, the Seagull begs you to slow down, carefully compose your image, set your focus, squint your eye, square your subject, and gently r-e-l-e-a-s-e. A serious photographic instrument with old-school heart, the Seagull 4A-109 is both capable of shooting professional quality images and igniting your soul with square-format-fury and twin-lens-lust.

Seagull 4A-109
SIDE BY SIDE
You Lomographic veterans out there are already familiar with our entry-level Seagull TLR, the 4A-105. Although they look nearly identically handsome, there are two key differences:

4A-109: 300 Eur/USD
Better optical resolution through lens (4 elements in 3 groups), aperture & shutter settings are viewable through a top-mounted window – thereby allowing you to see the values while you compose your image.

4A-105: 250 Eur/USD
Entry-level lens (3 elements in 3 groups), aperture & shutter settings must be set on the front of the camera.

EXCLUSIVE SEAGULL-SLAM GALLERY
As befitting a camera of this stature, we pulled out all the stops and threw down a no-holds barred gallery of natural light, nighttime, x-pro, and studio image sets. Two Lomographic heavyweights took off their gloves to squeeze every last drop out of the Seagull's Haiou glass. Grab a towel and have a look.
