The Headquarters of Vienna is searching for two Fulltime employees in our retail department and a lot of interns.

RETAIL:

Currently we are running 21 Lomography Gallery Stores worldwide in cities such as Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Hong Kong, Berlin, Milano, Los Angeles…
The ever-growing number of Lomography Gallery Stores serve as the ultimate analogue one-stop stores, galleries, workshop- & meet up-places and destinations for the full range of Lomography products.

To help us to keep this number ever growing we are looking for YOU to join our International Retail Team.

Junior Retail Operations Manager

As the Junior Retail Operations Manager you will help implementing and enforcing retail operations.

The retail operation includes monitoring and analyzing each store’s performance in line with the given targets whilst ensuring agreed standards are met and financial objectives achieved.

As the Junior Retail Operations manager you take an important role in enforcing the process- and project management especially for new store openings.

Based on your analysis the retail team will prepare forecasts and strategies to constantly improve the retail channels efficiency, performance and profit. Success in this position requires a strong focus on analysis, accuracy and the ability to keep and enforce deadlines on an international level.

Junior Marketing Manager International

As the Junior Marketing Manager International you will work on developing, implementing and enforcing creative, new and original retail-marketing initiatives that are fresh and surprising to the retail world.

Your goal will be to attract new customers, further build our worldwide community, develop surprising sales approaches and to take the customer experience in the Lomography Gallery Stores to the max.

To succeed in this position, besides your very creative mindset, you will have strong project management skills and the will to implement and enforce activities on an international and local level.

Retail Online Manager

As Retail Online Manager you will be in charge of all Lomography Gallery Store related online matters and activities. As part of the International Retail Management Team based within the Vienna Headquarters you are the crucial link between the retail and the online channel.

You should have a bachelors degree in journalism, social media or online marketing, perfect English skills (any additional language is a plus) and some editorial experience (own blog or online magazine). Experiences in a similar position and lomographic experiences are a big plus.

INTERNS

Community / Social Media Intern

As an intern for the Online Community, your duties will include the administration of competitions on Lomography.com and social media platforms, monitoring of content and activity in our social media platforms and developing of social media campaigns.

You should be a student majoring in business studies or marketing, have a knowledge of social media (facebook, twitter, tumblr, …) and computer skills, like Excel, World and possibly Photoshop.

It’s an advantage if you’re interested in analogue photography, have a positive attitude and if you’re willed to learn.

Press Intern

As an intern for the Online Magazine, you will write and upload varied content for our website, follow up and provide assistance to media contacts and press agencies and email with bloggers and press for contacts. There will be special web- and writing-related projects, which may include conducting interviews, checking facts and obtaining consents in the same manner as a professional journalist.

You should studying journalism, communications, public relations or English, having any copy editing skills and a thorough knowledge of AP style.

Any experience in writing for a college newsletter is a big plus.

Photo Intern

As a Photo Intern your duties will include the organization and execution of creative photo shootings, maintaining our product picture archive and helping with photo competition judging.

You should studying photography, be experienced with Adobe Photoshop (cutting out, colour correction and basic retouching) and having a sense for colours and light setting.

Know-how of photo archiving and the ability to improvise is a big plus.

Marketing Intern

As an intern for the Wholesales Team, your duties will include the research of different markets, catalogue updates and regular checks of distributor websites. You will also write different texts for promotions, product launches or blog posts, support the preparation of trade shows and update pricelists and order forms.

You should be a student majoring in business studies, have a business mindset and have excellent office program skills. It’s an advantage if you’re having an affinity for numbers and a passion for writing.

Graphic Design Intern

As an intern for the Graphic Design department, your duties will include the support of the development of layouts for product packaging, the preparation of printing files and the creating of packaging models. But we will also need your help for the preparation of layouts and the production of packaging prints and the realization of product packaging.

You should be a student majoring in graphic design or similar studies, have a sound knowledge of current design programs and good English skills. It’s a big plus if you are interested in photography and be a flexible and efficient-working person.
