This month we’ll be staying open late every Friday and Saturday night to give you extra time to get all your holiday shopping done. But that’s not all. We’ve packed this month with a plethora of workshop opportunities and fine-tune those Lomography chops for the holiday shooting season so mark your calendars!
*Thursday, December 2, 2010; 7:00 – 9:00pm: Festival of Light Painting:
Jump right in to the Holiday season with a night-time workshop where we paint the streets of Los Angeles with light! One of our most popular workshops, light painting is sure to be that much more magical thanks to all the beautiful decorative lights running up and down Santa Monica Boulevard!
*Sunday, December 5, 2010; 2:00 – 4:00pm: Under the Mistletoe with Lubitel Lovers:
Snuggle up next to the one you love and stay warm in the joyful glow you’re sure to experience while shooting with the Lubitel 166+! This twin-lens Lothario swings both ways, 35 mm and 120 that is, and puts you in complete control thanks to its fully manual operations.
Wednesday, December 8, 2010; 7:00 – 10:00pm: Fire Side DIY:
Make yourself at home next to a flickering fire and put your analogue skills to use in this FREE workshop where we will create one-of-a-kind holiday presents for your loved ones near and far. We will offer a plethora of materials for making not only gifts for others, but unique decorations for your home, and your home away from home… the Lomography Gallery Store LA! Stick around as we toast to the season with festive refreshments and listen to David Sedaris’ Holiday’s On Ice after our hard work has been completed.
