At the photokina we will give away 1000 free cameras for your best LomoLocation shooting proposals in Germany and the rest of the world, which will be included in the LomoWorldArchive to build one of the most amazing projects of our time: The LomoWorldMap. Come to our booth and meet the Lomography Analogue Arts Juror who will give away 500 free cameras for LomoLocations in Germany and another 500 cameras for LomoLocations from around the world. A LomoLocation is a place of Lomographic interest, a location Lomographers should visit to take Lomographs, meet people and enjoy local (sub)culture. There is a LomoLocations section on our homepage featuring already now more than 3500 unique places around the world added and described by our community. The juror will listen to even the most extraordinary presentations of exciting LomoLocation shooting proposals – so don’t be shy and take your chance! Present, dance, write or sing your LomoLocation shooting proposal in front of the Juror, no matter if these LomoLocations are featuring the most haunted cellar in Buxtehude/Germany, a Roma community close to Paris or the most amazing ostrich ride Durban/South Africa – if the juror likes your location, you will hold your camera in hands within seconds! The only thing you have to do afterwards is to shoot away with your beloved camera like mad, so that the LomoWorldMap Germany will shine in all its glory at the photokina 2012.

For the very first time we present the LomoWorldMap Project at photokina 2010. The LomoWorldMap is a cosmopolitan project striving for uniting billions of Lomographs that linger out there on a gigantic LomoWorldMap depicting the world as it is Lomographically. During photokina 2012 we will unveil the LomoWorldMap Germany as a giant “walkable photo-map of Germany”(approx. 5000 m2 of LomoWall on the floor) which will be spread between the “Kölner Dom” (cologne cathedral) and the “Köln Hbf” (central train station of the city of Cologne). The LomoWorldMap Germany will consist of millions of snapshots from thousands of people: German cities, villages, people, (sub)cultural places and much more is represented throughout a heap of analogue pictures that come from Lomographers. This is the first partial result of the LomoWorldMap Project that will be going on for next ten years until 2020 and will become an important giant “real” document in the future due to its analogue existence. Shoot away and submit all your LomoLocations on our website to participate in the biggest Lomographic project ever!

What started out with the Ten Golden Rules of Lomography found its way to millions of Lomographers out there and will be continued through a revolutionary manifesto that will be presented for the very first time at photokina 2010: The 10 Prophecies for the Analogue Future. Depicting the essence of an inevitable analogue future, the 10 Prophecies will be the new manifesto of analogue photography in the future. To have the 10 Prophecies at hand whenever a Lomographer is in doubt, they will be available on ten different posters at photokina 2010. Get yourself your posters to internalize a manifesto that will go down in analogue history!
Here is your first glance at the 10 Prophecies for the Analogue Future:

We, the Lomographic Society International, are a globally active organization dedicated to experimental and creative analogue snapshot photography. Lomographic pictures are moment-catchers; characterized by vibrant colours, shadowy framing, surprise effects and spontaneity. Boasting over one million members across the world, we seek to document the incredible planet around us in a never-ending stream of images. The Lomo LC-A+ camera was the first member of the huge lomographic analogue camera family. It confidently takes a seat at the dinner table alongside our other innovative and quirky Lomographic products – the Spinner 360°, the Diana Mini, Diana F+, Lomo Lubitel 166+, Fisheye camera, the Colorsplash, the Supersampler, Horizon, Pop 9, Actionsampler, Holga as well as many other bags, lenses and accessories, books and stationery.
